Nike World Basketball Festival 2012

Project Description

Meteor Tower was brought in to create a time-lapse video of the event build for the Nike World Basketball Festival. The challenge of this project was that the entire venue was transformed during the build and how should we capture that transformation while not hindering the work of other companies? Meteor Tower used five cameras over the course of one week to gather footage. The cameras were constantly being moved to make way for the crew and gather content from a myriad of angles. Dailies were sent to the client for review and the process was such that changes to the filming where constantly being made. At the conclusion of the event the footage was edited to music and show the build in an exciting way from start to finish.
